Partner with the best

You will increase revenue through selling into net new large strategic accounts. Partnering with established channel partners and sales development representatives, you will work with multiple business units in a fast paced and innovative environment. You will champion Akamai's brand and relationships to bring value to new and returning customers.

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Building key relationships by bringing value and solutions looking to solve large scale security and performance challenges
• Leveraging your network to help open doors, and start new relationships
• Partnering and enabling with marketing and sales development teams to drive interest and awareness within your region
• Partnering with cross functional team to increase adoption of Akamai services across various verticals and use cases
• Leading an extended Akamai account team to conduct and execute on an effective territory plan

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent
• Demonstrate success in relevant net new customer acquisition experience
• Have demonstrated success selling Infrastructure / Application security, network, web performance products to mid to large enterprises
• Be passionate about building relationships with customers by delivering on the outcomes they are looking to achieve
• Display an ethical approach to sales, show integrity, personal drive and uphold Akamai values in every situation

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $247,948 - $397,085/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
