Manager, Vendor Operations - Fulfillment & Quality

Job Description

The Role: Minted is seeking a talented and passionate Manager of Supply Chain to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assisting senior management in developing and executing manufacturing and supply chain strategies for our core stationery business and managing partners/suppliers in our manufacturing network. The position will be accountable for scaling our manufacturing network to support aggressive growth plans, ensuring we delight our customers with high quality products and services, introducing exciting and innovative new products in concert with other Minted functions, and achieving manufacturing and shipping cost goals. He/She will enjoy ‘rolling up his/her sleeves’ to deliver results resourcefully with a terrific team. This position reports to our Senior Manager of Supply Chain. You Will:

• Partner with management on the development and execution of manufacturing and overall supply chain strategies to achieve growth, customer satisfaction, manufacturing capability and profitability goals
• Assist in managing the fulfillment partner relationship, with a focus on quality, projects, and analytics
• Project-manage improvement plans developed by minted & fulfillment partners to further drive improvement in KPI’s such as on-time delivery, increased capacity, reprint rate, and net-promoter scores
• Deliver best in class product quality by meticulously analyzing all key performance indicators and customer feedback, identifying the areas needing the most improvement to drive customer satisfaction and retention and managing quality improvement action plans within Minted and our manufacturing locations
• Travel to various fulfillment locations across the country to learn best quality & fulfillment practices to develop a six-sigma management system for fulfillment processes and standardize across the network
• Be the cross-functional SME for quality, working with customer service, print quality agents, and other team members to communicate improvements & pass feedback to fulfillment partners
• Be highly analytical & able to dive into large data sets, analyze them, and make recommendations to senior management for strategy development
• Execute specific plans to support the scaling requirements for the fourth quarter. Be a strong partner to customer operations in order to ensure high customer satisfaction

You Are:

• Passionate and care deeply about delighting the Minted customer
• Known for your excellent interpersonal skills which will enable you to work as a team with other Minted functions and operations partners
• Very skilled at project management, have the ability to work cross functionally and outside the organization, and have a track record of achieving the results expected & executed quickly
• Extremely analytical, detailed and process oriented
• Articulate and persuasive while able to listen and incorporate the perspectives of others
• Adept at dissecting performance data and customer feedback to drive decision making, measuring performance of the manufacturing network, and identifying the opportunities to drive improvement
• An expert with Excel and reporting tools like Looker
• Experienced with working with employees at all levels of a company

You Have:

• 4-7 years of experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and commercial printing
• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Adept at Excel and/or Google Suite with a strong quantitative background and experience with process management, documentation, and data modeling

Compensation: The compensation range for the role applies to both employment offers and Minted employees actively working in the role. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.
