Backend Engineering at Tessian We‘re looking for a Junior Engineer to join one of the key teams powering Tessian services, protecting our customers from the full spectrum of inbound email attacks. In this role, you will work closely with other engineers and architects, who will all be there to help, support, and grow you. Please note this is a Junior Backend Engineer role. Responsibilities: Engage with the world of Python 3 and AWS, building robust distributed systems designed to manage immense volumes of data with exceptional speed. Embrace the responsibility for developing and supporting our essential business systems, always mindful of the interplay between scale, latency, and cost. Take on the complex task of processing highly sensitive data, a challenge that will refine your skills in data security and handling. Qualifications: 1+ year of experience with at least one of Python, Java, Go, .NET Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures Familiarity with microservices,, Docker, k8s/ECS Good communication skills and team player Preferable Qualifications: Experience with AWS (S3, Kafka, RDS, etc.) You build it you run it mindset If you're not sure that you exactly fit all of the above criteria, please do get in touch anyway.
