Complex Networks is a global youth entertainment network spanning major pop culture categories including streetwear and style, food, music, sneakers and sports. Complex Networks is diversified around three pillars: advertising, e-commerce, and content where it creates and distributes original programming for Gen Z and Millennial audiences through premium distributors such as Netflix, Hulu, Turner, Corus, Facebook, Snap, YouTube, Roku and more. Additionally, Complex Networks generates revenue through a number of core business lines, including branded content and advertising, licensing, events, e-commerce, and agency consulting services.

The Role

Complex Networks is looking for a Senior Talent Booker. You have an understanding both of mainstream and niche pop culture, and be eager to compete against the biggest celebrity interview shows across all platforms. You will report to the Director of Talent Relations.

You Will

• You have experience booking relevant celebrity, sports, music, and expert talent
• Track all talent-related documents including contracts, releases, and payment documents
• Help with talent discovery
• Develop professional relationships with internal talent while serving as a point for all talent needs, requests, 3rd party-branded opportunities
• Work with legal to confirm completion of confidential memos, correspondence, notes
• Work with video production teams to confirm talent logistics for shoots
• Work on branded talent campaigns and branded programming
• Research/suggest relevant talent for programming, campaigns, and host opportunities
• Coordinate business and talent travel, including trip logistics and itinerary, meeting coordination, and remote support
• Compile and submit travel and expense reports
• Schedule and set up conference calls, teleconferences, and web-based meeting
• Attend industry events and talent meetings outside of normal work hours
• Work with several internal and external clients and contacts
• Establish best practices for Complex brands looking for and working with celebrity talent
• Work with the talent to seek out major third-party opportunities that complement and enhance the Complex Networks brand
• Update talent database ensuring all contact information for talent, agents, managers, and lawyers is always current

You Have

• BA or BS Degree
• 5+ years of experience in talent relations and talent booking
• Experience managing needs of celebrity-level talent and ability to stay calm while handling difficult situations
• Understand the Complex Network brand and audience
• Database of industry contacts across markets
• An understanding of all social platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Clubhouse, Twitch, TikTok, Live Audio platforms, etc.
• Experience making decks and slides pegged to internal and external projects
• Strong attention to detail, administrative, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of talent contractual terms and contract negotiations
• Work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Work with integrity
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff at all levels
• Manage projects from beginning to end
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to travel and work outside of standard business hours
