How you will make a difference:

This position sits on the FP&A team and is a critical and highly visible role within the team that performs integrated company-wide analysis and consolidation to support planning/forecasting and performance reporting processes. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, this role will partner with Go-To-Market and R&D/Cost of Revenue functions to support the company’s strategic objectives while keeping costs predictable. Your goal is to develop a deep understanding of the GTM, Engineering and Product organizations and partner with leaders to align financial goals. The successful candidate will specifically demonstrate a strong aptitude for interpreting, analyzing, and communicating complex business issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Problem solving, prioritization, and attention to detail are critical. This position offers multiple opportunities to showcase analytical skills.

The core functions of the role include supporting the annual operating plan, reforecast, long range planning and month end reporting processes while ensuring we maintain flexibility and continuously support the strategic objectives of Iterable. This role will have 1 direct report, a Sr. Financial Analyst, to help drive these efforts.

You’ll get to:

  • Manage end to end P&L including top line revenue metrics, resource allocation, Headcount and Opex management for key sales functions by partnering with Recruiting and GTM leaders. Assist with Pricing and Packaging.
  • Serve as a finance business partner to the Product and Engineering organization and handle departmental headcount, budget, and development and tracking of meaningful critical metrics to measure efficiencies and return on investment analysis
  • Cost of Revenue - Forecasting of AWS, software, capitalized software expense, professional services, etc.
  • Support/drive development of Board of Directors presentations, executive dashboards and KPIs. Create executive review materials that consolidate and communicate financial and operational strategy
  • Perform account level variance analysis that drive business insight and frame financial risks and opportunities and present findings to senior management
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key team members to drive operational efficiency
  • Working to continuously develop and improve existing FP&A processes
  • Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes, partnering closely with the accounting team, to identify key areas of improvement for maximum efficiency
  • Perform and support ad-hoc reporting/analysis requests. Support corporate initiatives and reporting

We are looking for people who meet the following:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (Post MBA candidates are encouraged to apply)
    Prior Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in FP&A role at a public/pre-IPO SaaS company

General Skills:

  • Exceptional quantitative and financial modeling
  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter - candidate needs to be self-directed and proactive
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple team members.
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Top-notch organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide mentorship and be an effective coach. Managerial experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with utilizing BI and reporting tools

As such, we've moved to a single geographical compensation band for all of our employees (the San Francisco Bay Area market for the US, London for the UK).

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $133,350. The compensation package includes equity, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial and other benefits. Additionally, perks such as daily paid lunches and generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others, are included.
