About the Role

FareHarbor, a Booking.com company, is looking for a full time Senior Engineer to join our front end team in the Netherlands. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people rely on to run their businesses every day. In addition to building new features for our software, our front end team is migrating our large AngularJS codebase to a new Vue project.

What you’ll do here:

• Build user-facing features for the leading software for tour and activity companies
• Migrate a large, business-critical AngularJS codebase to a new greenfield Vue project
• Set the engineering standards and best practices for our front end code across all our teams
• Review pull requests, write tests, and write technical documentation for our engineers
• Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience working with large-scale production codebases and mission-critical systems
• Very strong JavaScript
• Very strong understanding of web fundamentals
• Experience with Vue is a big plus, but not required
• Strong CSS is a big plus, but not required
• Passionate about getting things right and creating the best user experience
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Motivated, hard-working, and able to lead by example
