Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an Operations Manager, Process Design & Strategy-Enrollment and Billing to join our Concierge Optimization Team!

About the role:

The Operations Manager, Process Design and Strategy E&B will optimize processes for our Enrollment, Eligibility and Billing departments within the Member Life Cycle vertical. You will act in a hybrid capacity both improving initiatives, and being the subject matter expert for E&B in enterprise wide programs. We ask that you bring risk identification, mitigation for us to be prepared to continue serving its Members, Brokers and Providers while meeting our important brand promises.

Expected to lead team collaborations. Prior experience with enrollment and billing practices, and ability to work across different initiatives.

You will report to the Director, Enrollment and Billing Optimization. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Responsibilities:

  • Lead lead team implement process improvements to meet departmental goals
  • You will evaluate requirements and develop execution plans for major projects
  • You will provide counsel to departmental leadership by taking on mission-critical ad-hoc assignments; Serve as departmental advocate and reference point for Sr. Leadership
  • Guide optimization development and formulation for assigned business units
  • Collaboratively works with all relevant internal and external stakeholder groups to drive proactive process improvements, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Facilitate partnership with Product Management team to support design and build for system changes
  • You will develop direct reports, ensuring that colleagues are supported in professional development

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in program management
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • 2+ years experience working in payer enrollment, eligibility and billing
  • Experience with E&B technology e.g. EDI 834
  • Experience influencing leadership decision-making using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience using data and metrics to improve programs
  • Expert in documenting process and implementation of controls and monitors

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certifications
  • PMP Certifications or Program Management Certifications
  • Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)
