In this role, you have the opportunity to support the Zone Management Team and project managers in the designated installation area. Monitor and maintain project data and support the timely closure of project activities/milestones to provide standardized project delivery and to meet Zone forecasts. Full support of project managers, including but not limited to site checks, customer meetings, technical follow-up, drawing submittal, etc. Position may be required to travel to various parts of the Zone for 1-3 days as needed. Focused attention will be on LSP accounts. This involves occasional interaction with external customers on the scheduling and planning of the order. Position involves extensive interaction with all levels of management (e.g. Sales, Service, Clinical Education, OM, BUs).

Responsibilities

  • Full support of project management activities as assigned by full-line Customer Project Manager and/or Turnkey Project Manager
  • Execute tasks effectively and efficiently to ensure a superior customer experience for assigned LSP(s)
  • Work with customer and internal resources to successfully implement assigned projects
  • Ensure resources are allocated correctly to respective projects, resource extensions, project updates/notes
  • Update the Issue/Action log – follow up with respective owner with reminder 2 weeks out as well as at due date, enter updates
  • Support Customer Project Managers with documentation, specific admin responsibilities while they are at customer sites, etc.
  • Taking Meeting Minutes and disperse post meeting
  • Create initial build out of SOLiD project timelines
  • Document Lessons Learned throughout the project
  • Spend time with experienced Project Managers with the goal of taking on a full PM role in 1-2 years
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of project management (e.g. SOLiD/PMP)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High knowledge and understanding of site drawings and translations to contractors and architects
  • Knowledge of Project Management training – PMI methodology
  • BA or BS
  • Experience in working within cross functional teams/ Stakeholders
  • Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
  • Ability to negotiate and work without direct authority
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Coordination skills
  • Analytical, systematic working style
  • Significant travel in the designated area (estimated at 40-50%).
