Successful candidates will bring a dynamic combination of IQ and EQ, an ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and strong interpersonal skills to maximize value in partnership negotiations & implementations. Someone who brings hustle in spades and isn’t afraid to manage multiple deals in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment. Essentially, a business athlete with ambition and drive, capable of building partnerships to support a variety of high-priority Mart and FMCG initiatives.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

• Lead end-to-end deal processes: strategy, sourcing, analysis, negotiation, and implementation, with significant autonomy
• Your focus will be on the Philippines but will require you to have a deep understanding of the food-tech ecosystem and beyond
• Work closely with the Head of Commercial to create long term and impactful strategies
• Develop and manage necessary business relationships internally and externally at the project team level
• Bring your analytical A-game. You’ll be building business models, performing analysis to understand trends, provide actionable insights, and track productivity and success of initiatives to ensure we’re driving toward the best possible outcome
• Drive team accountability by managing deals pipeline and review process, ensuring deals serve company strategy, accounting for risk appropriately, monitoring competitive developments, and conducting impact assessments/readouts in collaboration with the data analytics team
• Drive initiatives. Collaborate with Ops, Product, and Marketing teams to align on strategy, partnership targets and work closely with them to drive and support key initiatives across our business teams that will grow strategic and long-term opportunities with our various partners. This involves wearing many hats and jumping in to help your teammates when the needs arise.

The Must-Haves:

• You have Heart, Humility, Hunger, Honour
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, management or marketing
• 7 years+ of relevant experience in corporate sales & account management, preferably with a Tech Company’s BD team. FMCG/ F&B industry experience is a plus
• Strong account management experience dealing with a major brand(s), working on contract terms, negotiating and collaborating campaigns
• High throughput. Your strong bias towards action helped you earn the reputation of someone who gets things done. You love having a lot on your plate and get energy from being busy.
• Strategic thinker - able to add value to a business strategy or negotiation
• The athlete’s mentality. You’re an all-around player, flexing and stretching your analytical prowess, pitching in as needed but also knowing when to take control and lead a conversation be it with an engineer, a product manager, or a C-level executive.
• Strong interpersonal skills which allow you to build trust and negotiate hard with partners, and adeptly manage the cross-functional coordination (product, local operations, engineering, finance, legal) required to implement deals
• Ability to multi-task and deal with time pressure in an unstructured environment; ability to work through uncertainty
• Adept at building and delivering presentations

This Data Protection Notice / Privacy Policy describes how GrabTaxi Holdings Pte Ltd (“Grab”) and its respective subsidiaries, associate companies and jointly controlled entities (“Grab Group”) uses your Personal Data.
