Recruiting Manager

Job Description

We’re looking to hire a Recruiting Manager to oversee Underdog.io Flex, Underdog.io’s new RPO offering. You’ll be in charge of the resourcing side of the business, where you'll recruit, screen, and manage our team of recruiters as we scale to provide flexible, in-house talent acquisition services to some of the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with Underdog.io’s founders to prove that Underdog.io Flex is a viable business. If we’re successful, we’ll invest heavily into the new offering.

More specifically, you will own the following work:

• Source new recruiters; there is a strong need for technical recruiters, but there have also been requests for go-to-market, sales, bio/pharma, and high-growth/junior recruiters
• Build a reliable interview process
• Interview recruiters using said process; iterate accordingly
• Negotiate offers with recruiters
• Write marketable copy to describe each recruiter (e.g. What do they excel at? Why are they great?)
• Manage recruiters currently staffed on an engagement
• Manage the bench of unstaffed recruiters to keep them engaged

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a recruiting role building recruitment pipelines
• 1+ years of experience in a recruiting management role building recruitment processes
• A demonstrated history of building relationships with recruiters
• Experience at a startup or in a dynamic, startup-like environment
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, analytical, and eager to learn
• Strong writing background

Structure and Benefits

This will be a contract-to-hire position. During the first three months, this individual will be a 1099 employee. At the end of the contract, we’ll convert you to a full-time W-2 hire with a salary, 100% coverage of health, dental, and vision insurance, 100% coverage of hardware/software, and equity in Underdog.io.
