About this role

We are seeking a candidate to work within the Aladdin Client Transformations - Operations Practice team supporting the implementation of investment operations workflows to external clients. You will work closely with partner teams and the client acting as a subject matter authority and primary point of contact, providing mentorship on standard processes and supporting a smooth implementation!

About the role:

• Be responsible for the delivery of investment operations workflows, including trade confirmations/settlements, Margin/Collateral management, reconciliations, asset servicing etc. for implementations.
• Partner closely with clients to build and share knowledge relating to Aladdin functionality, workflows, and market-standard methodologies
• Build strong internal relationships within Aladdin Client Business, and the wider BlackRock globally, in support of your clients
• Participation in department strategic projects
• People manager responsibilities, including 1:1s, development and oversight of team activities.

About you:

• 3+ years of work experience in the financial services industry
• Familiarity with operational workflows i.e. trade matching and settlements, collateral and margin management, corporate actions and reconciliations
• Solid understanding and engagement with third-party trade execution, settlement/confirmation platforms, market data vendors and understanding of equity, fixed income and derivative markets is a plus
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated concepts simply and clearly to clients
• High-reaching approach to large, sophisticated projects, with a flair for problem-solving
• Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary distributed team but also can take initiative and work independently
• Ability to travel and be on-site with clients at various stages of an implementation
• Experience working on large agile implementations

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Prior people manager/leadership experience
• Business Analyst and/or Project management experience
• Experience with SQL, UNIX, or similar tools, and/or Aladdin
• Exposure and/or engagement on prior Aladdin implementation(s)
