Harborview Medical Center – Social Work has an outstanding opportunity for a Social Work Grants and Contracts Analyst (Budget/Fiscal Analyst) .
WORK SCHEDULE
• 40 hours per week
• Day shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
• Perform specialized financial tracking and grant reporting duties in support of program operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare grant and contract financial reports and invoices in compliance with grant and contract reporting requirements. Prepare fee for services invoices for trainings, consultations, materials, and testimony.
• Provide instruction, guidance, and assistance to department personnel on compliance questions and issues
• Work closely with Grant Managers to support the goals and objectives of the streams by taking an active role in analyzing metrics, workloads, and scheduling.
• Consult with funding agencies to resolve problems and obtain approval for deviation; advise and assist organization’s staff regarding budgetary policies.
• Maintain knowledge of each grants budget, and how to charge revenue and expenditures (including payroll) to them. Process invoices for payment on purchase orders for actors, facilitators, honorariums and supplies. Verify accuracy of invoice and obtain approval signatures.
• Track grant expenditures and grant deliverables to prepare specialized reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports for funding agencies.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s Degree with major study in accounting, business administration, or related field and two years of experience performing fiscal analysis, planning, and reporting, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
